We are searching for 2 superb individuals to form 1 dynamic team
and head up and lead our unbelievable kitchen
at The Fat Fish in Plettenberg Bay
This is not a job offer. It is a life changing career move that could enable you to relocate to one of the most secure, community orientated, gobsmackingly beautiful, fastest growing economies in SA – Plettenberg Bay!
Now we could start off this hire with all the usual blurb –
- Minimum five year’s experience in similar position
- Excellent administrative skills
- Fine dining experience
- Culinary qualification preferable
- Own transport
- Computer literate and so on and so forth
All absolutely necessary but essentially useless if you aren’t up for a challenge…
a challenge no-one can ever quite prepare you for.
Therefore, we thought the best way to possibly go about this is to ask you a couple of …well … more to the point kind of questions…
- Does the prospect of managing a pass and plating an average of 600 meals in a 3 hour timespan per night from an a la carte menu with over 50 different options for at least 4 months of the year scare you witless or make you want to sharpen your blades and don your whites?
- Are you prepared to work at full tilt in peak season (4-5 weeks) thereby securing the ability to live in the jewel of the Garden Route and maximizing the lifestyle opportunity Plett has to offer in the quieter months?
- Have you genuinely got the skillset required…not just a passion for creating fabulous food?
